Inspiring a Love of Music
Learning to play an instrument is a great way to express your creativity and develop a lifelong appreciation for music. As teachers, we strive to inspire our students to love playing their instrument and to develop a deeper appreciation for the beauty of music. Our goal is to help our students develop a passion for music and to cultivate a skill that will stay with them throughout their lives.
Establishing a Solid Foundation
The beginning stages of learning an instrument are the most important. Establishing correct technique along with a clear understanding of how to read music will ensure a solid foundation for quick and enjoyable progress.
Discovering Musical Possibilities
There is so much music to be explored. It's important that students build up a wide repertoire of music and discover what they love to play. Our goal is to introduce students to a wide range of musical genres, rather than going from one graded exam straight to the next.
In our music lessons we aim to instil musical excellence and inspire a love of playing
At Mitchell-Harrison Music we aim to support musicians at any stage of their musical development. A husband and wife team, Hannah and Matt draw on their wealth of experience as performers, teachers and examiners to provide high quality tuition, coaching or accompanying in a friendly and encouraging environment.
